Here are a few links of things that you can do, and that Thunderbolt Electronics offers to help us
all reduce our dependancy upon foreign oil. Being American means that we live free. Free to choose what to eat, say, drive,
and to live how we feel. So when energy costs spiral out of control and threaten our lifestyle, there has to be some creative
ways to keep doing whatever we choose (within reason) and not feel like we are always just squeeking by.
I put this page on here to show that there are options. I did a lot of research and found a lot of
really neat ideas that frankly I though were reserved for the left coast states (solar) and montana (water/wind). When I saw
the push towards the "green" movement, I thought that electric or hydrogen cars were inevitable and that we were never going
to have a choice. That the big companies were squeezing us more and more. What I found was that telecommunications company
can be told to take a hike because there are alternatives. "Ma bell" is dead! All cell, and or wireless has been more effective
due to advancements in wireless technology. The power and leach companies can be told, "No thanks, I am energy self sufficient."
The Oil companies can be told "Not today, maybe next quarter."
Can you imagine no phone line, selling your electricity TO the electric company, and going to the
gas station once every 3 months? I can! It is all about keeping your money. Spend a little now and save a lot over time.
